Trash and Recycling Schedule 2011

Holiday Schedule

When a holiday falls on a week day, trash pickup will be on Saturday.  Saturday pickup will be for these holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,  and Thanksgiving Day,

Saturday Pickup Dates:

• June 4, 2011
• July 9, 2011
• September 10, 2011 
• November 26, 2011 

Guidelines for Trash Pick-Up:

• place trash and recycling out prior to 6 am on Friday
• trash should not weigh more than 40lbs
• receptacles should be no larger than 32 gallons
• recycling materials should be placed in (or place paper beside) the recycling bin. 

We encourage recycling.  Recycling bins are available at the township hall.

Items to recycle: 

• glass (clear, amber, and green)
• plastic bottles and milk jugs (#1 & #2)
• tin and aluminum
• newspaper 
• cardboard
